Delaware River Towns: Full of character and full of characters, by Jeff Marshall, at the David Library of the American Revolution.

River towns attracted a special type of character - hard-working, fun-loving people who could accept the threat of flooding and other dangers of life along the river, as well as enjoy the inherent beauty and vitality of river life. This talk addresses the towns along the Delaware as well as the people who have lived and worked here.

This talk is one in a series sponsored by the Delaware River Greenway Partnership on different aspects of the culttural and natural heritage of the Delware River.
The series is open to the public free of charge.
